Design is the conversation that runs through everything. It begins the moment we meet you — listening to what you imagine, what you love, the kind of day you carry in your head — and it ends only with the room your guests walk into.
Our designers don't start with a template. They start with you. Moodboards built together. Sample sessions where you see and hold what the day will become. One creative direction that holds the ceremony, the reception, the florals, the lighting, and every smallest detail together as a single piece.
By the time the design is final, you will have lived inside it before your guests ever do.
The name Canteiro comes from the bed of earth where flowers are planted. It is also where our work began.
Our floral team — designers, artisans, growers — works from our own studios in Cancún. We source from local farms and from the world's best flower markets, and we design every wedding from the ground up: never from a catalog, never from a template.
From the loose, romantic arrangements that feel like they were gathered that morning, to the architectural installations that turn a room into a cathedral — we approach every flower the same way. As a small piece of language. Placed exactly where the day needs it to be.
Behind every wedding stands a curated collection of objects: chairs, tables, bars, lounges, decorative walls, tabletop pieces, lighting. We've been building ours for nearly two decades, and it now lives across 56,000 square feet of warehouse and workshop in Cancún.
Each piece has been chosen with the same care a curator gives a gallery — not for novelty, but for the way it will feel under candlelight. Together they let us shape a room with the precision the day deserves: warm, considered, unmistakably yours.
You will not see anyone else's wedding inside yours.
Sometimes the day asks for something that doesn't exist anywhere. A bar carved like a hidden grotto. A dance floor under a sky of stars. A seating chart that becomes the first thing your guests photograph. A ceiling installation that turns a ballroom into a dream.
Our fabrication team builds it. From the first sketch on tracing paper to the finished piece on the truck. Wood, metal, fabric, light — assembled by craftspeople who think in materials, not just in objects.

Before anything is finalized, we invite you to our studios for a sample session — a hands-on afternoon where the moodboard becomes real. The tabletop is set. The candles are lit. The flowers are arranged exactly as proposed. You see, touch, adjust, change your mind, change it back, until everything feels right.
