We were blown away by the incredible wedding weekend the team at Canteiro put together for us. Everything was perfection — from the decor, to the flowers, to the scheduling, to the vendors they recommended. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the weekend was. The best part is that it was totally stress free for us and we were able to actually enjoy our wedding weekend rather than worrying about the details.

The team at Canteiro was a dream to work with. They took care of every detail without hesitation and were proactive in ensuring everything was taken care of. Lorena, Eric, and Anna were extremely communicative and we never felt that we were chasing them for anything. I loved that they were able to handle planning, decor and florals without having to rely on third-party vendors — it allowed us to execute our vision perfectly while staying on budget. I cannot say enough amazing things about Lorena and the entire Canteiro team. From our very first meeting, I felt so grateful to have been introduced to them. They took care of everything — from each detail, to each request, to each last-minute question — and handled it all with care and professionalism. The entire process was seamless and fun. One of the biggest advantages of working with Canteiro is that they do almost all of the work for you. Lorena and her team managed every aspect of planning so I could actually enjoy being engaged with the process instead of feeling stressed. Their in-house designer, Erick, created the most stunning floral and decor design, which was included in Canteiro's services.

Canteiro was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end on our wedding events at Banyan Tree Mayakoba in March 2025. Everyone says to be prepared for some hiccups during your wedding day and that not everything will go to plan. They executed flawlessly and EVERY element came together exactly — if not better — than we could have ever envisioned! Florals and decor were stunning; endless compliments on our chuppah, fun welcome party decor, and unique design elements at the reception.

My bridesmaids were especially impressed with how seamless and carefree the getting-ready morning flowed thanks to Lorena and team's ability to direct us and all the vendors, staying on schedule and at ease. Would recommend Canteiro again in a heartbeat. I was told I was an extremely chill bride and I credit our planners for that luxury — I was able to focus on the happiness and joy of our marriage with confidence that every detail was taken care of.

Lorena at Canteiro was truly so amazing to work with. She mapped out our entire wedding planning process from the beginning with specific tasks to accomplish every three months with check-ins, which was super helpful to keep us organized and on track. She was always available for any questions my husband or I had via WhatsApp or email. She always had our best interest when it came to negotiations, which was extremely helpful as we weren't as knowledgeable about the industry in Mexico! I would definitely recommend the team at Canteiro — they truly made our wedding planning experience such a breeze and I did not have to worry about a single thing the day of, because I was able to trust my planner had it all completely handled.

The Canteiro team across the board exceeded our expectations!! The whole process was seamless. They helped with planning each event to be unique and memorable, sourcing all the right vendors within a budget we were comfortable with, and taking all the stress of the actual wedding away so we could just enjoy it with our family and friends. Lorena and the team at Canteiro were nothing short of spectacular. It would truly be hard to imagine planning a wedding without them. Lorena was attentive, detail oriented, and just overall on top of everything. She just “gets it.” She is understanding of budget, style, different personalities, and the complexities of planning a wedding. She was always reachable and committed so many hours into making our wedding vision come to life.

None of this compared to what she and her team delivered on the weekend of the wedding. They were on top of everything and had no detail left out — down to the minute-by-minute outline. As great as they were at planning, they were even better at executing when the day came, which I didn't even realize how important that was until we went through it. I cannot recommend them enough.

As Americans having a destination wedding, we truly rolled the dice by choosing a local planner, and we were not disappointed by our decision. Canteiro made our wedding absolutely outstanding. They were far better than the full-service planners in New York, where we're from. They helped us plan every single detail and took every concern we had, ensuring our wedding was perfect.

As a Type-A person, they made it easy for me to share my vision board and then hand over control, completely worry-free. Lorena's team — along with Erick, Ana, and Michele — listened, were trustworthy and creative, and were genuinely invested in our dream wedding. My husband frequently says he wishes he knew more people getting married in Mexico just so he could recommend Canteiro and Lorena's team. We love them and couldn't recommend them more!!

We had such positive experiences working with the Canteiro team, specifically Lorena and her team. Their caliber of service truly speaks for itself. As a bride in residency focusing on finishing school, I was so comfortable tackling my studies and wedding planning because of this team. This wedding was very large and the team managed to help make the event warm and intimate. With just a few inspiration photos, the entire team truly made our vision come to life.

Communication was amazing — Lorena helped navigate the hotel venue and event planner given our different time zones. With a large wedding there were many opinions, and the team made sure our voices were heard and our vision came to life. During the festivities the team went above and beyond, readily available and ready for Plans B and C pending the tropical weather. We had many laughs and definitely made memories planning this magical weekend. It was an absolute pleasure working with this team.
